On a vast expanse of land at latitude: 18.416668 and longitude: 68.9, the Casa de Campo/ La Romana International Airport opened in December 2000 for easy international access to the Caribbean´s Most Complete Resort. Guests flying in are only 8 minutes from check-in and are able to capture a bird's eye view of this amazing resort that hugs the Caribbean Sea.
 

For even faster access, hotel guests and villa residences, also have entree to the resorts private Heliport, next to the hotel's main parking lot.


La Romana International Airport

Airport Management Services, Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Central Romana Corporation, parent company of Casa de Campo and the Hotel Santo Domingo, in the country´s capital city, built and manages the Casa de Campo/ La Romana International Airport (IATA: LRM and ICAO: MDLR).
 

Fashioned in the style of an old sugar mill, the single terminal international airport opened in December 2000. Inside the terminal, guests waiting to take off will find food & beverage outlets, duty free shops, an international bank, a Premium Passenger VIP Lounge and more. Ground transportation is provided by Tropical Tours and can be arranged with our reservations staff.
 

Today this airport receives flights from the USA on American Airlines; from Puerto Rico on American Eagle and numerous charter flights each day from Latin America, Canada and throughout Europe.

On-Site Heliport

Just minutes away from hole #1 of the menacing Teeth of the Dog is Casa de Campo´s onsite Heliport.
 

Adjacent to the main parking area, the Heliport features an illuminated landing platform and a parking capacity for a half dozen helicopters at once. Additional helicopters can park at the Casa de Campo/La Romana International Airport and fly in.
 

This Heliport is managed by Airport Management Services, Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Central Romana Corporation, parent company of Casa de Campo, and is certified by national & international authorities for day time operations.
